About Me

Professional

I'm a web developer with a growing interest in using web technologies to help people solve real problems. Over my career, I've found that I really enjoy the blend between creative and technical that web development provides. My interest started in high school, when I experimented with hosting a simple Nginx server. In college, I studied Computer Science, which built on that by teaching me networking protocols and gave me opportunities to apply the concepts I learned in hands-on projects. I currently work for Mississippi state government, building and maintaining internal websites. I enjoy learning new tools and solving problems.

Personal

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, often visiting parks and walking trails on the weekends. I wind down by playing along to some of my favorite music on guitar. And, of course, I enjoy spending time with friends who enjoy similar things. I was born in Denver, CO and spent my earlier years in Castle Rock. After moving to Arizona for a few years, my family and I moved back to Colorado. Finally, I moved to Mississippi, where I've met some of my closest friends and fallen in love with the luscious greenery.
